Upper left is the latest... upper right is when I began this piece a week ago.
Clocking the "Dream Chasers" painting at 20 hours in... this is where the fun stops... and the gruel begins... there are a million different ways to express the same idea... but the flavor changes the further I go... push, pull, push, pull... when does it end??? GAGH!!!
More thinking to do... trying to figure out what is working for me... and really figure out where I want to go with this...
I am open to opinions at this point!!! HELP!!

Critique in my point of view. (But this is YOUR art piece, YOU hold the brush, and so this is YOUR call)
Personally, I like the lower left.
Good balance and flow between light and dark colors.
I love the white dot patterns on your horses and the stars. It brings out personality. For me, they represent the spirit of freedom. And it is really cool that they are galloping in space.
The waves of clouds are beautiful. Very nice flow.
Good shadows; nicely define the clouds and the movement of the horses.
The current one that you have now:
It is looking a bit dull with the added colors, especially the clouds. Less spirit.
The colors of the clouds are starting to looked mushed. Probably should add some light here and there and maybe a strong neutral color.
I can't see the person very much anymore. (no! I'm losing you! D
