A couple of weeks ago I got a special invite to do some local green activity in celebration of up coming Earth Day. Yesterday we took care of some trees in a corner of Los Angeles. I invited

to come along and do a little eco-work. We got this nifty T-shirt(not out in stores yet) some stickers, learned all there is to know about proper care of trees in urban settings, had a great workout hauling buckets of water, dodging busy street traffic(like that game Frogger) "You feelin lucky?" "Ruuuuun!!!", made many new friends and had fun.

How do you get invited to these events? Be very active in the DA community, make art and help others out. I hope I get to meet more of you fellow DA people in person someday.
