Guitar Centaur

I am really inspired by the John Mayer concert I went to on Sunday... He was so lost into the music he was doing all sorts of crazy stuff with that guitar of his. Behind his head down on the ground and going and going and going. At the end of a song it almost looked like he was going to smash it or light it up like Jimi Hendrix (photo reference used [link] ). If he could he would have shot his heart right out onto his guitar...

The Blues... utter joy while expressing utter pain. The music was so awesome, so passionate. If he had an extra pair of legs underneath him I can see him doing that. Man... I want his skills so bad... I play the acoustic guitar for my own personal enjoyment. I was window shopping for Fender Stratocasters and amps online yesterday... thinking about which one I should save my money up for.

*Edit update: This took about 5 hours to work out yesterday. Thought about it some more overnight and worked on it for a couple hours more. Was listening to John's live recording for "Covered in Rain" [link] over and over to keep my motivational juices going.
