---------------------------- I think that was his name... it has been a while! When I was in junior high Rosie's kindergarden teacher asked me to make some drawings for a children's book she pitched. Said she got the idea when she saw me sitting around drawing horses/animals while waiting around for mom to pick me up in grade school... It was about a carousel horse that was sick and tired of his life. I remember the story still, think its a great story but didnt get made... The publisher wanted to get someone else to do the art I think... but the teacher wanted my work in the book. I think if she tried again with the drawing abilities I have now... it'll have a better shot.
She got me obsessed with designing carousel horses for a while...
My horses had different element themes... the main one of the story had flaming fire. He was the most spectacular horse of them all. All the kids loved him, everybody wanted to ride him... but he was sick of it... going around in circles his entire life... One night the moon granted his wish and he came to life and explored the area he was in. He talked to everyone and learned about their lives. He found out that what everybody else had was pretty drab and miserable compared to the life he had... fine colors, great music and the love of the children everyday... So he went back to the carousel and never complained again.... the end... well... something along that line.
