Tzau's duty isn't only to keep things green so that creatures can have food and shelter, he also buries the dead. When ever he comes across a dead body he wraps them up so they will decompose.
A boy who was unfamiliar with the wilderness got lost and found his way to the carousel. Tzau volunteered to feed the kid and take him home. Where the boy lived green things didn't grow and it wasn't very safe for anyone. The two came across a group of people fighting over something. Tzau walked toward the group of people and everyone couldn't believe what they were seeing.
Not sure if this will be in the next Elemental Horses book but I felt compelled to start drawing this one earlier this week. Just wanted to share.
as usual, you know how to really fit in with the atmosphere! seeing as how the theme is pretty somber, you somehow let the background not stand out too much, yet enough to see the required details... wished I can do that!
Its a matter of practicing your coloring. Also I look at a lot of art and art of film books. They are filled with examples of different color combinations that evoke different moods. You should pick one up of you favorite movies and tv shows.
If you really want it that badly you should ask your parents permission, and I can mail you a signed and stamped copy in exchange for something. I don't travel so it would be nice to get something very Canadian in the mail!
