Why the tiger?

February 10, 2010 (02/10/2010! all positive numbers!) on the Chinese Lunar Calendar begins the year of the Tiger.

The tiger is considered one of the most powerful animals of the zodiac, it is second to the dragon. It is a fearless fighter.

Tigers are the largest of the big cats stretching up to 12 feet in length for the large males. It is the only cat species to not fear water. Its happy to belly flop into a pool and stay in there for hours.

Anybody here makes friends with cats? Once they know you are cool they'll always be looking for you. They show appreciation by bringing you rodents, reptiles and birds(dead, alive, half eaten) as gifts.

Can you imagine making friends with a tiger? To show appreciation it'll drag a carcass of a deer and slam it on the dining room table... blood dripping all over the dinner guests? Tiger is like "Let's eat!!"
